Mabuja Labs | Our Story

Born in Burundi, the founder of Mabuja Labs, Alida Kaburundi developed a passion for cosmetics after arriving in Canada and was embarking on her natural hair journey in 2003. She started making her own cosmetics following recipes she would find on blogs, and gradually started formulating her own recipes while experimenting with different ingredients. She has now turned her hobby into a profession by becoming a certified organic and natural cosmetic formulator.
